May 2026 Schedule

May 2026 now includes the Golden Week Bakushoku Onsai appearance, the May 3 African Sunday special, the May 10 Radio Kishiwada anniversary pop-up, the May 23-24 Osaka Metropolitan University Friendship Festival, and the May 31 African Sunday collaboration plate. From Friday, May 1 to Wednesday, May 6, Uganda Coffee Shop joined Bakushoku Onsai at Expo 70 Commemorative Park Festival Plaza with coffee, beer coffee, vanilla ale beer, UCS Castella, tasting sets, and take-home coffee products.

On Sunday, May 3, Kitchen SAWASAWA hosted the African Sunday deep-fried goat and kachumbari special from 11:30 to 18:30. The May 8 schedule update also noted that the regular Uganda Coffee Shop Sunday service was closed for the May 10 weekend while the team appeared at Kishiwada Cancan Bayside Mall from 10:00 to 17:00 for the Radio Kishiwada anniversary event.

Late May added a two-day Nakamozu Campus pop-up for the Osaka Metropolitan University Friendship Festival, with iced Uganda coffee, event drinks, samosa, Rolex, castella, and take-home coffee products. A May 31 African Sunday post then added a Kitchen SAWASAWA collaboration plate with minced meat stew, green salad, and rice, while the May thank-you reel closed the month and pointed customers toward more June events.
