Our Roots
Uganda is the birthplace of Robusta coffee and home to some of East Africa's most compelling Arabica lots, grown in the rich volcanic soils of Mount Elgon's highlands. Our single-origin coffee introduces Japanese customers to a distinctive African coffee origin known for balanced sweetness, cocoa-toned depth, and daily drinkability.
Beyond coffee, we source organic vanilla with exceptionally high vanillin content, carefully cured by skilled artisans. Our Tooke flour, made from green bananas (matooke), represents Uganda's traditional staple reimagined as a nutritious, gluten-free ingredient for modern kitchens, cafes, and breakfast menus in Japan.
Every product we offer supports fair trade partnerships with local farmers, helping connect Ugandan producers with Japanese coffee culture through transparent sourcing, practical brewing education, and long-term community relationships.
